We Are Family... The Nats and Labour together???

Saturday night's election results were fairly predictable with National coming out on top followed by Labour, NZ First and sadly, just scraping in, the Greens. It would have been nice to see the Green party disappear altogether and one does have to ask for 20 years in Parliament what on earth (no pun intended) have they actually achieved.
In our opinion very little in regards to the environment, other than to push their deeply held communist agenda. They are really a social justice party rather than one which fights for the environment, that is simply a front to hide their real intentions. It would be fair to recognise them now as "Dark Green" in colour which represents the very extreme left in viewpoint and perspective. You are kidding yourself if you believe they are there to protect the environment and be a bastion for everything green. Nothing could be further from the truth, however, I digress...

It occurred to me today that the National Party and the Labour Party should come together and form a Coalition Government and remove the threat of Winston altogether. You may think this is absurd but why not???

The two big parties are practically the same in outlook and general policy now and we find it very difficult to differentiate the two. "Red National and Blue Labour" quickly springs to mind. They really should merge and become one party they are so similar, and based on both parties track record these past 10-12 years and the legislation that has passed you could put forward a solid argument and justification for this reasoning.

A little tongue in cheek perhaps but certainly not as crazy as it seems. Of course it would never happen mind you, but, if NZ wants to have any kind of a promising future we are in desperate need of another major party on the right (National and Labour are both on the left) which shows clearly the difference, and, stands up for the values that matter and were the foundation our once great country was established on.
