When it comes to the global climate debate nowadays the common theme running is that human activity is affecting the climate, and, if you believe the extremists that activity is affecting it in a BIG way.

Trying to work your way through all the lies, fabrication, and frankly now extortion from our Governments by way of various climate taxes can be an absolute nightmare, and, in order to get to the truth it is quite the task.  Thankfully, because now the voices opposing CC and GW are getting louder and louder you still can do this and our goal with this post is to dispel the rumors, squash the hearsay and present credible and reliable information that will help put your mind at ease, whilst also give you enough information to challenge the establishment, lunatics and extremists with facts.  

Today in this post we hope to simplify it for you and explain why you don't need to worry so much about our effect on the climate or global warming for that matter and why this is so.  It is a big subject and it warrants extra attention so please read this post in its entirety because the information we present is very valuable and will stand you in good stead next time you have to debate it with your family, work colleagues or the very uninformed politician down the road.

Before we start however it is crucial that we establish our position on all things Climate Change just so you know exactly where we at www.itsgonepolitical.com stand.

Do we care about the environment? - Absolutely!

Is it important to look after this planet? - Yes it is!

Is our impact on climate change as BIG as it is made out to be? - No, it is not, not by a long shot!

Are we Climate Change Deniers? - No, we prefer to say that we are skeptics, that the science is most definitely not settled and here is why.

Most of the propaganda out there is completely fabricated and taken way out of proportion and context.  You must realise that when you see articles like "Antarctica is melting" and "sea levels are rising" and, "giant waves are making our planet a frightening place to live" you should at this point question the source and information they are using because generally they have taken climatic changes way out of proportion and drawn a very very very long bow in determining that a catastrophe is coming.  

We have discovered time and time again the CC/GW believers/alarmists taking certain information and twisting what is normal and natural (Climate Change - The Climate does change everyday you know) and distorting it to their own ends, relying on the fact that most of the general public have no idea what is normal and natural in our environment and don't have the knowledge or capacity to question what they are saying.  They throw in the odd amplification that "this could happen" or "that could happen" (scaremongering in our opinion) when in actual reality their theories are based on a complete misunderstanding of how the global climate works.

As an aside our planet earth and it's universe is an amazing and complex machine which operates perfectly in sync and to suggest that it all happened via a large bang is simply quite stupid and beyond belief.  A very great and supreme being is behind this wonderful creation of ours, and He is the reason you get to enjoy it's beauty and splendour every single day.

When it comes to CC and GW the bottom line is that you have to go and look at the facts.  Period.  Not some Greenie telling you that unless you stop farting the world is going to come to an end.

So on that note, let's get down to the nitty gritty on a few important points climatic:

1. Carbon/CO 2 - There is a lot of talk today about Carbon, being carbon neutral, removing it altogether, reducing our carbon footprint, etc. etc.  We get it rammed down our throats ad nauseam and now taxed heavily for it too.

What a lot of people don't realise is that CO 2 is only 4% of the green-house gases and the total green-house gases are only 2% of the total atmosphere. (Please read this again so you get it)  

So what are the total green-house gases I hear you say?  Probably the most important one is water vapour and a good example of it is when you have a clear day in Autumn/Winter you know it will be chilly at night because the temperature is escaping and it will most likely result in a frost.  Similarly when there is cloud cover during the day, or, the humidity is high, then the temperature won't escape and you won't get a frost.  That folks is water-vapour in action and make no mistake it is far far more important to human's and their continued existence than CO 2.  

When you get up in the morning what happens?  The temperature starts to rise as the sun rises and it heats the ground first before it heats the air.  Please note (very important) the atmosphere is not heated by the sun, it is actually heated by the ground.  As the sun rises it heats the ground which in turn heats the air.  

If you want proof of that then we recommend you book a flight to the south coast of France (for a nice holiday) and when you are cruising at 30,000 plus feet check what the temperature is outside.  Typically it will range between minus 30-40 degrees and yet you are closer to the sun.  

This is basic 101 and you need to understand this.  So with Water Vapour sorted the other two which help make up the green-house gases are CO 2 and methane.  A few year's back in NZ the government tried to introduce a new fart tax which was basically going to tax the farmers per cow for the amount of farting going on because they were concerned about the negative impact on the environment. (I kid you not, the politicians at the time were deadly serious!)  Methane however makes up only .036% of the green-house gases.  And to make an even finer point this is the human portion of the CO 2 in the atmosphere.

At this point take a deep breath and ponder that statistic for a moment.  The human portion of the CO 2 in the atmosphere is .036% of the 4% we mentioned earlier. In other words it is so minimal, so inconsequential it is really not worth considering.

So why are the CC Alarmists so pent-up about it???  It is our belief that they had to pick on something and unfortunately for CO 2/Carbon that is what was chosen as the punching bag of choice.  

Back when I was a child I can remember every one being very concerned about the Ozone Layer, before that it was the earth is cooling and before that it was that an ice age is coming and before that it was that we are over-heating and so it goes on and on and on.  

For starters, CC and GW are an incredible money making exercise  If you doubt that, then this next number will literally hit you like a tornado.  Incredibly, every single day around the globe we are now spending approximately $4,000,000,000 ($4BILLION) on tackling Climate Change!

That is a lot of money in anybody's book and hopefully highlights to you one of the major reasons why you hear so much about it simply because it makes those at the very top of the pyramid a lot of money.  It also grants a tremendous amount of power and control over the masses who are none the wiser but "feel good" or "virtue signal" by doing stupid things like banning the plastic bag (one of the world's greatest inventions in our opinion) or, dream up an idea like an ETS Tax (Emissions Trading Scheme) where they tax you for what you emit which as we have seen earlier is very small and negligible.  Just on the plastic bags, has anybody got a solution for the very large amount of polypropylene bags we are now collecting and storing in our vehicle boots and pantry/cupboards which are most likely much more harmful on our environment than the original plastic bag the establishment has so eagerly and hastily banned?

Now a lot of the CC data produced today actually comes from various departments and arms within the United Nations.  They are the ones pushing the agenda on CC and GW and how much CO 2 humans are producing.  There is a vested interest here (the UN benefits hugely in terms of income generation) and yet if you look at their records year by year every single year according to their findings the global temperature goes up.  We find it curious that independent reputable organisation not associated with the UN who measure the CO 2 levels every year also, have completely different findings to that of the UN.  They also completely disagree with the UN and what they are saying.

Since 1990 the UN has been forecasting global temperature using computer models. Every single forecast they have made since 1990 has been wrong and each time they have over-estimated the global temperature.  If you want proof of this check out John Christie who presented this to the US Congress saying here is what the UN models were predicting and then, here is what actually is happening.  Every prediction about global catastrophe by the UN has been wrong, yet this is where many of the world's media and government's take their data and information from and form policy around.  

Very scary stuff when the actual data they produce is so far wide of reality.

Folks, are you seeing a thread here, can you begin to understand why the whole debate around CC and GW may actually be a complete hoax and more sinister a clever plan to wrap you up in cotton wool, tax the absolute crap out of you, and, control you to such a point that you no longer think for yourself because "they know best?"  

2. Scientists Agree/Consensus - When you hear or see the words that Scientists agree or there is a consensus, nothing could be further from the truth.  In fact, Scientists very framework is to question everything and argue until they are blue in the face to establish their point.  They are far far far from agreement and the word consensus is simply another way of saying it is now political.  Consensus does NOT apply to Science and the minute you hear that word you know that it is a political argument, not a Scientific one.  Politics is a classic example of consensus where you have to bring other people along for the ride and get their buy in to push an agenda or policy forward.  It creates an awful mess generally and usually ends up with the minority winning over the majority.  (New Zealand is a classic example)

3. Money, Money, Money - The amount of money tied up in CC and GW is simply mind-boggling.  Little wonder that Governments of the day are so readily signing up to Climate agreements and pacts all under the guise of saving the planet but really more in line to literally fill their coffers through taxation.  As an aside Al Gore and his "Inconvenient Truth" mantra has done very well out of CC/GW and while we try not to labour the point too much some credible estimations we have seen has good (or bad) old Al personally benefit from the CC/GW crisis to the tune of roughly $750 million dollars.  Regardless of the amount it is fair to say that he has done rather well out of it all and ironic to say the least that he enjoys a big carbon footprint in his 10,000+ sqft home in Nashville, Tennessee.  He and his band of fellow celebrities as well as political green parties and politicians continue to enjoy their mansions, private-jetting around the world telling you and I that we need to reduce our carbon emissions, save the planet, while all the while they are probably emitting more than you and I put together.

4. Global Warming - So, is our planet really heating up?  Let's take a look at it and see if we are all going to get fried to a crisp in the near future.

At a glance there is no doubt that the planet has been warming up over the past century or so, yet for the most part it is agreed that this is part of a natural cycle the earth is going through.  In order to be thorough we need to look at history and go back a few hundred years.  Approximately 800 years ago the world began to experience what is now known as "The Little Ice Age" where it was so cold that entire families would be frozen solid in their beds.  It was during this time that many of the world's spectacular glaciers grew and conditions were so bad that whole villages in Europe were engulfed by walls of ice.  Before that the earth had the Medieval Warm Period and certainly at the time there were no factories or major human CO 2 emissions driving the climate.*

They were natural events, pure and simple.  Come forward to almost present day we discover that since 1998 world temperatures have flat-lined.  In fact in recent years they have actually gone into decline and a slight cooling trend.  While we brainwash our children in school with Global Warming propaganda the irony is that no one under the age of 15 anywhere has experienced global warming!  The planet is actually not warming but rather cooling.  Even UN scientists are beginning to acknowledge that we have a "pause" in global warming, further establishing that GW may just be (pun intended) a bunch of hot air!

Interestingly Russian Scientists believe that we could be entering into another ice age potentially with the Sun "powering down".  A Russian Scientist interviewed in the RIA Novosti stated the following in 2008: **

"Temperatures on Earth have stabilized in the past decade, and the planet should brace itself for a new Ice Age rather than global warming."

Russian Scientist Khabibullo Abdusamatov also said:

"A year ago, many meteorologists predicted that higher levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would make the year 2007 the hottest in the last decade, but, fortunately, these predictions did not become reality."  He predicted that in 2008 temperatures would drop slightly, rather than rise, due to low solar radiation in the past 30 years.

Adding to his comments he had this to say about solar activity in the near future:

"By 2041, solar activity will reach its minimum according to a 200-year cycle, and a deep cooling period will hit the Earth approximately in 2055-2060.  It will last for about 45-65 years."  

"By the mid-21st century the planet will face another Little Ice Age, similar to the Maunder Minimum, because the amount of solar radiation hitting the Earth has been constantly decreasing since the 1990s and will reach its minimum approximately in 2041."

Interestingly in 2013 NASA backed the Russians up on this issuing a grim warning about the Sun powering down and suggesting like the Russians that a phase like "The Little Ice Age" is potentially coming.***

So, with all of this in mind we suggest that rather than preparing for global warming you might want to go out and purchase some extra winter woollies instead as it does look like we are in for some upcoming rather chilly times.

While we could continue on at this point we shall bring for now the CC/GW debate to a close.  Hopefully what you have read today has helped you become a little more informed and given you more confidence in challenging this whole debate and the constant stream of propaganda.

You see CC/GW is not designed for the elite, it is designed for the general population, the common people, the ones who supposedly don't know any better.  By taxing us under the guise of "save the planet" they have found a way to control us, increase taxation all the while ensuring that they maintain their exclusive lifestyles where the 'rules don't apply" to them, and they stand to make a lot of money from peddling their CC/GW wares.  

It is our considered opinion that we are well and truly being rorted by the wave of Climate Change/Global Warming propaganda machine because under a clever and well-disguised plan it is a scam of monumental proportions which every day people, businesses, corporations, politicians and BIG Government have swallowed hook, line and sinker.

Do your research, and become informed on all things climate and you will quickly discover what good shape our planet is actually in and how incredible it really is.  

Yes, you and I can do our bit in keeping our planet clean, green and pleasant and using that good old "common sense" which isn't so common now, but make no mistake you certainly don't need to be paying any form of tax or believing the lie that what you are currently emitting is having any impact whatsoever on the environment.

The truth is simply this - It is infinitesimal.
