Annual MP Performance Review

Here it is, the first of our Annual MP Performance Reviews.

Amy Adams National Party, Selwyn Electorate - Green Light, good solid and hard working MP.

Jacinda Ardern Labour Party, Mt Albert - Red Light - Hard to believe she is now leader of the Labour Party, no experience, no real job ever and after nine year's in Parliament has achieved absolutely nothing other than having a nice smile.

Singh Bakshi National List MP - Red Light - List MP's get an automatic red light, they are a waste of space and taxpayer's $$$, period.

Darroch Ball NZ First List MP - Red Light - Good and decent bloke but because of List MP status he gets the boot, not convinced he did enough either in his Palmerston North electorate for the past three year's.

Todd Barclay National Party, Clutha-Southland - Red Light - No explanation needed here, thought he was bigger than the game, arrogant and completely useless.

Maggie Barry National Party, North Shore - Orange Light - Lovely Lady but hard to see her effectiveness in Parliament other than securing a nice retirement for herself.

Andrew Bayly National Party, Hunua - Orange Light - Andrew who??? Flies well and truly under the radar, not enough evidence to suggest he is working hard for his electorate.

David Bennett National Party, Hamilton East - Orange Light - More effort and results required.

Paula Bennett National Party, Upper Hutt - Green Light - National's poster girl for coming from a welfare background. With this life experience this makes for a good package in understanding what it's like in the real world. She works hard but have noticed lately the old National Party Arrogance creeping in. Keep it real Paula!

Mahesh Bindra NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light - Under Winston's spell and not required in our Parliament.

Chris Bishop National Party, List - Red Light - Actually one of the very very few MP's who works hard in his electorate despite being on the list. Sorry Chris but you are out because of your list status but hey come back and actually win the darn electorate and we would welcome you back.

Ria Bond NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light - Why do we bother with list MP's, gone!

Chester Borrows National Party, Wanganui - Green Light - Sorry to see a top bloke go, he worked hard for his electorate, stuck to his principles and achieved quite a bit in Parliament and Wanganui.

Simon Bridges National Party, Tauranga - Orange light - Still to be convinced of his performance and ability to do the job. Can talk a bit and sadly has all the National Party arrogance you would expect to see. More actual results required, less talk and more action please Simon.

Steffan Browning Green Party, List - Red Light - All Green MP's get a BIG RED Light, complete and utter waste of Taxpayer's money and communist's at heart.

Gerry Brownlee National Party, Ilam - Red Light - How this guy stays in Parliament is beyond me, look at the mess in Christchurch which he personally oversaw. Serious lack of performance and results, time to go.

David Carter National Party, List - Red Light for David because of List MP status but actually we like the guy and he does do a reasonable job as Speaker of the House which is never easy. Stand in an electorate David and win it and we would welcome you back to Parliament.

David Clark Labour Party, Dunedin North - Orange Light - Hard to see evidence of results in his electorate. Big improvement required.

David Clendon Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Out, off you go.

Barry Coates Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Respect to Barry for sticking it to Metiria, but off you go.

Jonathan Coleman National Party, Northcote - Orange light - Health minister and we think our health system is very poor, big improvements and lift in performance required.

Judith Collins National Party, Papakura - Red Light - She has been there too long, time to swan off Judith, hard as nails but effective? We do wonder?

Clayton Cosgrove Labour, List MP - Red Light - You already know why.

Clare Curran Labour Party, Dunedin South - Orange Light, not enough evidence of getting results for her electorate, please improve and justify your status as an MP.

Marama Davidson Green Party, List, Red Light - Please leave!

Kelvin Davis Labour Party, Te Tai Tokerau - Orange Light, hasn't done himself any favours of late. Needs to work harder and lift his performance, mind you that will be tough in the Labour Party.

Jacqui Dean National Party, Waitaki - Orange Light - The jury is out on Jacqui as to performance, would be good to see more results for her electorate.

Catherine Delahunty Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Can we please remove List MP's altogether!

Matt Doocey National Party, Waimakariri - Orange Light - Likeable chap, more postive results in his electorate required.

Sarah Dowie National Party, Invercargill - Orange Light - Haven't seen much evidence of her working hard for her electorate but possibly one to watch for the future.

Peter Dunne United Future Party, Ohariu - Red Light - Thank goodness the end has come! What was with him always wearing a bow tie anyway??? Changed his stripes on many occasions to suit himself, pompous and filled with self-importance, and, achieved very little for 30+ years in Parliament. Sadly, the taxpayer is now going to handsomely fund his retirement.

Ruth Dyson Labour Party, Port Hills - Red Light - A dangerous element in the Labour party and one we have no time for.

Bill English National Party, List MP - Red Light - Based on your list status Bill, you have to go (We have to be consistent here) We would like you to take back your old electorate off young Todd and carry on with your PM responsibilities. Because of a serious lack of quality opposition you are our country's best bet for the next three year's.

Kris Faafoi Labour Party, Mana - Red Light - Seat warmer and not effective.

Chris Finlayson National Party, List MP - Red Light - Off you go Chris, done some serious damage to the long-term welfare of this country with all your treaty negotiations and settlements. Why couldn't you just say no to all the claims and be done with it. Our great, great grandchildren will now have to pick up the tab thanks to you.

Teururoa Flavell Maori Party, Waiariki - Red Light - We want all Maori seats removed, it's a disgrace and very racist.

Craig Foss National Party, Tukituki - Red Light - Leaving Parliament to enjoy retirement. Did very little while in office.

Paul Foster-bell National Party, List MP - Red Light - Off you go Paul.

Marama Fox Maori Party, List MP - Red Light - We want all Maori seats removed, it's a disgrace and very racist.

Julie-anne Genter Green Party, List MP - Red Light.

Paul Goldsmith National Party, List MP - Red Light - National's whipping boy for the Epsom electorate which is an absolute joke. Epsom, your continued stupidity amazes us.

Jo Goodhew National Party, Rangitata - Green Light - By all accounts a good hard working MP, you can stay.

- Graham Kennedy Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Off you go old boy, well done on standing up to Metiria however.

Nathan Guy National Party, Otaki - Green Light, but we want to see less self promotion in your electorate. We reckon you have the most billboards ever and it is tiresome. Less about you and more about your electorate please.

Joanne Hayes National Party, List MP - Red Light - MIA, seen no evidence of performance.

Peeni Henare Labour Party, Tamaki Makaurau - Red Light - Off you go.

Chris Hipkins Labour Party, Rimutaka - Red Light - Always has a smart alec look in the chambers, typical Labour MP sitting at the trough, doing as little as possible.

Brett Hudson National Party, List MP - Red Light - Boy they have a lot of List MP's!

Gareth Hughes Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Please remove the beard also.

Raymond Huo Labour Party, List MP - Red Light.

Steven Joyce National Party, List MP - Red Light - Steven, win an electorate and come back, we would give you an Orange Light rating but lose the arrogance and actually serve the people who put you in power and we may change you to a green.

Nikki Kaye National Party, Auckland Central - Green Light - Improvement required, but she does work hard and all we want is more positive results from your effort.

Annette King Labour Party, Rongotai - Red Light - Stateswoman for the Labour Party and partly responsible for the social engineering that has gone on these past few years. We will not be sorry to see her go.

Nuk Korako National Party, List MP - Red Light.

Barbara Kuriger National Party, Taranaki-King Country - Green Light - Good solid MP who works hard for her electorate. Keep it up Barbara.

Melissa Lee National Party, List MP - Red Light.

Iain Lees-Galloway Labour Party, Palmerston North - Red Light - In fairness he does work hard for his electorate but really??? Remind us again why we want the Labour party in Parliament.

Andrew Little Labour Party, List MP - Red Light - Off you go Andrew, I think you had good intentions but unfortunately for you your own party screwed you over.

Jan Logie Green Party, List MP - Red Light.

Sam Lotu-iiga-Peseta National Party, Maungakiekie - Orange Light - Needs to actually stand up more for his electorate and stop toeing the party line all the time. Action and results required.

Tim Macindoe National Party, Hamilton West - Green Light - Solid MP who works for Hamilton.

Nanaia Mahuta Labour Party, Hauraki-Waikato - Red Light - Classic Socialist.

Trevor Mallard Labour Party, Hutt South - Red Light and this should have happened a long time ago.

Ron Mark NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light - Tipped to take over from Winston, but seriously Mark you need to win an electorate first to get our respect.

Tracey Martin NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light. All talk and little action.

Mojo Mathers Green Party, List MP - Red Light.

Todd McClay National Party, Rotorua - Orange Light - More results required.

Murray McCully National Party, East Coast Bays - Red Light - Been there too long, time to go.

Ian Mckelvie National Party, Rangitikei - Red Light - Big electorate but no results, wealthiest MP in parliament so doesn't need the money but a back bencher who fills up a seat in the house.

Clayton Mitchell NZ First, List MP - Red Light.

Mark Mitchell National Party, Rodney - Green Light - Pretty decent bloke but again like a lot of MP's more effort and results required. Please lift your performance for Rodney.

Sue Moroney Labour Party, List MP - Red Light

Todd Muller National Party, Bay of Plenty - Orange Light - Need to see more evidence of hard work and results.

Stuart Nash Labour Party, Napier - Green Light - We like Stuart, he works hard for Napier and gets a lot of stuff done. Don't know why he is with Labour though, that needs explaining.

Jono Naylor National Party, List MP - Red Light - One term MP who did nothing for his electorate in three years. Sitting at the trough MP and yes man, rather than standing up to be counted.

Alfred Ngaro National Party, List MP - Red Light.

Damien O'Connor Labour Party, West Coast-Tasman - Green Light - One of the few in the Labour party that we would like to stick around.

Simon O'Connor National Party, Tamaki - Green Light - Stood up to Jacinda on assisted suicide and stuck to his guns. Shows he has some principles which is good to see.

Denis O'Rourke NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light.

Pita Paraone NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light.

Hekia Parata National Party, List MP - Red Light - Has done a lot of damage to our education system and arrogant.

David Parker Labour Party, List MP - Red Light - Disaster and not needed in the house.

Parmjeet Parmar National Party, List MP - Red Light.

Winston Peters NZ First Party, Northland - Red Light - Time to move on Winston, you have done your dash at holding the country to ransom every three year's.

Richard Prosser NZ First Party, List MP - Red Light.

James Shaw Green Party, List MP - Red Light - Anyone who backs a lying former co-leader is a disgrace.

Scott Simpson National Party, Coromandel - Orange Light, more evidence required and lift in performance.

William Sio Labour Party, Mangere - Orange Light - Needs to lift his game and actually start getting some results.

Nick Smith National Party, Nelson - Red Light - Time to move on, been there too long.
